Ridgeway Athletics’ mission is to give every person that walks through the door the best one hour of their day. That one hour will be the starting point for building a better community through fitness.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life.   • 1. Do I need experience or some minimum level of fitness?

    No! Just get started. Our workouts and exercises scale to any level. Our coaches can tailor the workout to your ability.

  • 2. Who has benefited from CrossFit?

    Everyone benefits from CrossFit because it can be taught and applied to any person regardless of age, athletic ability or previous athletic experience.

  • 3. Do I need to be in shape before I show up?

    Absolutely not! You are pushed and encouraged based on your current level of fitness. All we want is for you to give your best effort during each workout.

  • 4. What if I don’t have time for this?

    It is a common sentiment to feel that, due to the obligations of career and family, you don’t have the time to become as fit as you might like. Here’s the good news: world class, age-group strength and conditioning is obtainable through an hour a day four to five days per week of training.

  • 5. What type of exercises do you do?

    We do everything from mobility to gymnastics exercises. We focus on a well-rounded concept of functional fitness exercises.
